The Vaasa Excellence Centre for Mental Health is lead by Research Professor Kristian Wahlbeck, who is an Adjunct Professor and answers for all matters related to development and research.

Professor Hannu Naukkarinen is also an Adjunct Professor in Psychiatry and in charge of educational matters.
