Socially sustainable development

Sustainable development results from the balancing of economic, social - or rather, societal -and environmental dimensions. Finland has actively promoted the recognition of the importance of the social dimension of sustainable development in the globalizing world.

This website is part of the Globalisation and Sustainable Development Programme of STAKES. It disseminates information for global policy dialogue on the social dimension of sustainable development.
