Plans and programs

Until now there have not been many programs and concepts aimed at involving people with disabilities in the poverty reduction process. E.g. The Tanzanian programme was carried out by CBM.

• The Participation Group of the Institute of Development Studies organised and sponsored a Bolivian-East African exchange to share experiences made, to date with the PRSP process: Lessons learnt - report (PDF doc). The report focuses on the importance of clearing and strengthening the role and relationship of different actors in the PRSP process. Co-operation and networking between different actors can be key to influencing PRSP.

  This is a very practical and well-structured guide on how civil society can participate in different phases of the PRSP, especially in budget work.
