Guidelines and tools
Participation and involvement of all stakeholders, particularly
the intended beneficiaries is the key to successful development
projects. Disabled people and their organizations are able and
willing to participate in poverty reduction efforts.
The GPDD members and the participating DPOs offer their
expertise on disabilities, on living conditions of disabled people
and on accessibility requirements to the planning and
implementation of poverty reduction strategies. "Nothing about us
without us" is the justified slogan of people with
disabilities.
Guidance for inclusion
In this section you can find information, guidance manuals and
practical tools on how to include disability at the policy level,
in plans and programs and in specific sectors.
